so I was surfing the internet (shocking, I know) and saw that Canon was coming out with a D60. So excited until I saw that unlike the feel of a D50 it looks like a Rebel T2. Hrm. I like the metal body of a semi-pro camera. Why canon? why? I went to a local photo store where the camera guy suggested a D7.
Now here is my beef, It has taken me >6 months to save up for a D50 now I was looking forward to a D60 maybe $200 more. The D7 kit runs ~$1800. Twice as much as I have to spend. Why would you throw that up as a possible purchase I could afford to make? That is just mean.
So, I bought a Holga 120 -- actually it's a Holgawood in purple. I wanted the TLR one, but that will have to wait. I went around trying to take pictures but it isn't like taking pics with digital -- you only have so many exposures available and film is $$! I'm looking forward to the development process, hopefully it won't come back blank.
I have a Canon t2 SLR film and waiting (ever so patiently ) to get back the loaner my friend loaned me -- Canon D20. I hope they get back before I get assignments that are due.
Don't really need a pricey camera but would like the best that I can afford.
